What is Waterjet?

Waterjet is a propulsion unit connected to the engine and used instead of a propeller shaft.

It allows the boat to move forward by sucking in water from under the bottom of the boat and discharging from the stern.	To move backward, the direction of water is changed with the bucket covered.

There is no projection at the bottom of the boat equipped with Waterjet.

Since there is no rotating part exposed overboard, a person who fell down from the boat or a diver does not get caught in. It provides a high level of safety.

Turn in a small circle or at the spot

Maneuvering with a deflector instead of a rudder enables the boat to turn in a small circle or at the spot.

Superior propulsion efficiency and
performance at high speeds

Waterjet is superior to propeller in efficiency and performance at high speeds.

Providing space in the center of the body

Waterjet is placed at the rear of the engine and propulsion unit, providing space in the center of the body.

Little vibration and low noise

It has a short shaft, causing little vibration and making low noise.

Propulsion unit resistant to damage

Since the propulsion unit does not project from the bottom of boat, the possibility that it gets damaged due to contact with obstacles on the sea bottom or driftage on the sea surface is reduced.

Reduced burden to the engine

It causes reduced burden to the engine at a sharp turn, a quick stop or a very fast start because of no load to a propeller.

Engine reverse rotation mechanism not required
/ Direct connection with the engine

It uses only one-direction rotation system and requires no reverse rotation mechanism. (It can be connected with marine gear, ON / OFF clutch.)
